| Pharmacist What
is the job? Pharmacists are responsible for assisting in
the maintenance of high levels of customer service and performance standards for
the pharmacy. As a member of the pharmacy team the Pharmacist will act as a role
model in supporting and promoting National Pharmacies' Vision, Values and the
Quality Care Pharmacy Program. Candidates will: Provide
quality pharmaceutical dispensing, advice and counselling consistent with or greater
than present professional and QCPP standards. Including maintaining up to date
knowledge and understanding of current pharmacy practice and developments. Support
the pharmacy team through personal leadership in order to promote the development
of team spirit. Make recommendations to the Pharmacist
in Charge on strategies to improve performance to either meet budgets or to improve
overall pharmacy performance. Maintain an understanding
of National Pharmacies' current vision, key objectives and financial performance. Continually
look to develop their skills and experiences with an eye to specialising or working
towards a management role. Skills and experiences
required · Current registration as a Pharmacist
· Skills in effectively and confidently counselling customers on health
related issues · Total commitment to the provision of first class customer
service · Ability to make appropriate decisions and accept responsibility
for any consequences · The personal qualities and professional presence
that commands the respect of superiors, peers, staff and customers ·
Strong orientation towards personal development and learning, as well as furthering
the goals of the profession · Preparation to work extended hours and
in any of National Pharmacies' locations, including country or interstate branches
from time to time. As a pharmacist at National Pharmacies
you have the opportunity to work a variety of rosters, work in different locations
as a Relief Pharmacist, work in regional locations, develop skills in Nursing
Home dispensing, Medical Management Reviews, experience small and large pharmacy
environments and if you so choose, develop management skills. |
