Security
National
Pharmacies have installed Security Socket Layer (SSL) encryption
software (as used on the major banking web sites) to ensure
information you send on the Internet is encoded and secure.
The Gold key or padlock you see when completing your order
confirms you are communicating on a secure server. No other
person can read your details as they are sent across the Internet.
You can read more about the level of security we use on our
site by visiting Thawte Certification.
We do not sell, rent or give external access to our customer
lists.

An encryption device approved by the Bank (PX-318 PINpad)
is used to provide security of the transaction from the OCA
server to the Bank.
This device also provides reliable transaction recovery,
and maintains the security of the terminal's master keys which
are used to generate Message Authentication Codes (MACs) for
AS2805 transactions.
It is the responsibility of the purchaser of the OCA server
software to ensure credit card payment information is communicated
securely to the OCA server software. St.George requires as
a minimum, the utilisation of 40-bit Secure Sockets Layer
data encryption.
