Every Christmas Pageant is unique in its own right.
But one thing they all have in common is the coming together of the wider community to bring smiles and joy to thousands of people – both young and young at heart.

Did you know the very first Christmas Pageant took place in 1933 at the height of the Great Depression? It’s since become the second largest parade in the world and the largest public parade in the entire Southern Hemisphere! Incredibly, the Pageant has been operating for 88 years and it’s only ever been cancelled once during the war but was quickly restored in 1945.
