Prevention of heartworm disease in dogs by eliminating heartworm larvae (Dirofilaria immitis) that infected the dog in the month (30 days) before treatment. Control of heartworm infections acquired in the previous four months, provided monthly treatment is continued for at least 12 months. Treatment and control of roundworms (Toxocara canis, Toxascaris leonina) and hookworms (Ancylostoma caninum, A. braziliense, A. ceylanicum and Uncinaria stenocephala).
As macrocyclic lactones may have some effects against adult heartworms, veterinarians are advised to be cautious when treating active or working dogs with a diagnosed heartworm infection. When used as directed, there is a wide margin of safety in all breeds of dogs, including stud dogs, breeding bitches and puppies 6 weeks of age and older. Can be administered to dogs of negative, positive or unknown heartworm status. However, as heartworms can have serious effects on the health of dogs, testing by a veterinarian before initiating heartworm prevention is recommended. Dogs with evidence of an existing heartworm infection should only be treated under the supervision of a veterinarian.

Ivermectin 6 microgram/kg and pyrantel 5 mg/kg bodyweight once a month. May be offered by hand or added to the food.
Each cube contains ivermectin 68 microgram, 136 microgram or 272 microgram and pyrantel embonate 57 mg, 114 mg or 227 mg respectively.
