Heart of the Nation
In 2022 National Pharmacies began the rollout of lifesaving defibrillators with the installation of units at our Blackwood, Brighton, Henley Beach and Mitcham pharmacies. Automatic External Defibrillators (AEDs) are now fixed outside of 33 of our pharmacies for 24/7 public access in partnership with Heart of the Nation.
AED’s are currently available at the following National Pharmacies:
Heart of the Nation is led by original Yellow Wiggle, Greg Page, who survived a sudden cardiac arrest in 2020 and has since worked to raise awareness of sudden cardiac arrest and to increase access to AEDs for Australians.
